Terms and Conditions

- Before arranging collection of the unit, the fitting garage must drain all fluids from the engine.

- Ivor Searle Ltd will request the engine to be returned in a bare but complete state (complete from rocker cover to sump, but no auxiliary items).

- Ivor Searle Ltd may request additional parts to be returned with the engine for final test purposes. These may include but not limited to. Diesel Injectors, Fuel Pump, Flywheel, Oil filter housing / Cooler assembly. These parts will be returned separately.

- Any customers own unit parts that are required to be fitted for final test of the engine and left installed (e.g fuel pump for timing purposes) are not covered by the Ivor Searle Ltd warranty, and Ivor Searle Ltd cannot accept any liability for any failure that may occur as a result of the condition of these parts.

- If the engine is returned to Ivor Searle Ltd with components still fitted that have not been requested for testing purposes, then additional labour maybe requested for the removal and packaging of these parts, or in some cases the engine will be returned for the fitting agent to remove these parts. Additional carriage costs may be charged.

- Ivor Searle cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage of any ancillary items that are attached when the unit is collected, that have not been requested to be returned.

- The unit must be securely packaged for transportation in the transportation packaging provided by Ivor Searle Ltd (no bare metal exposed) or the carrier may refuse to collect the unit.

- The unit would preferably be sent to us in an assembled condition, with no parts missing. Any missing parts could incur additional costs.
- If the unit is already stripped, it is the responsibility of the fitting garage to ensure that all components are securely packaged for transport. Failure to send all relevant parts could result in additional costs.

- All quoted prices and time scales for completion are subject to change once received and inspected by Ivor Searle Ltd and following associated parts availability checked with all relevant suppliers completed. Any major components such as cylinder head, camshafts, cylinder block & crankshaft that are beyond serviceable limits may incur additional costs. In the unlikely event that parts required are no longer available from the suppliers at point of ordering, Ivor Searle Ltd may advise that the rebuild of the engine cannot be completed.

- Failure to adhere to these conditions could lead to refusal to collect from the courier, and if the units are received back in a damaged condition due any of the above not being followed then additional costs may be incurred.
