Crank Grinder / Machinist

Our expanding engine remanufacturing business has a new vacancy for a crank grinder/machinist to join our team.
 
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
 
Previous experience of engineering or a basic knowledge of machining (in-house training will be provided);
Competence in measuring in both metric and imperial using a micrometer;
A keenness to learn and work well within a team environment;
A positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems.

Hours of work will be from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 13:30 on Friday.

Telephone Sales Co-ordinator

A vacancy has arisen within our busy sales team for a Telephone Sales Co-ordinator. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of an automotive parts/service environment.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Answer phone, fax and email enquiries promptly and professionally;
  • Accurately quote price and availability of engines, turbochargers, gearboxes and cylinder heads;
  • Carry out sales order processing using our Sage 200 system;
  • Raise customer invoices;
  • Liaise with the returns department to arrange delivery of sold items;
  • Carry out various administration duties.
 
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess:
  • Automotive parts experience;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • A positive attitude and the ability to identify solutions to problems;
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) or Sage 200, although not essential as full in-house training will be provided.
 
Hours of work will be 08:30 to 17:30 with 20 minutes morning break and 30 minutes lunch break.

Engine Remanufacturing Operative

A vacancy has arisen for an Engine Remanufacturing Operative to join our production department.
 
Hours of work will be from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 13:30 on Friday.
 
Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience of engineering, machining and/or engine work, possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems. In-house training will be provided.
