Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled fabricator welder to join our remanufacturing team. Ideally the successful candidate will have:
  • previous experience of fabrication, welding and basic machining is preferred;
  • experience in MIG/TIG/Stick welding;
  • and brazing;
  • be flexible in your approach to work with the ability to manage your own time effectively and able to work to tight targets and deadlines.

Gearbox Remanufacturing Technician

We are seeking an additional operative to join our gearbox department to strip; inspect; reassemble and pick components for gearboxes whilst working to build plans and schedules.
 
We are looking for someone who is practically minded with a desire to learn - no previous experience is required and full in-house training will be provided. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems.
 
Working hours are 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 13:30 Friday (40 hour working week).

Powertrain Aftersales Advisor

A vacancy has arisen within our busy market leading warranty team for a Powertrain Aftersales Advisor who ideally comes from an automotive warranty / service environment.

Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Take control of and process warranty claims from start to finish;
  • Provide outstanding customer service;
  • Provide information and advice to customers and suppliers;
  • Create warranty reports and supply replacement products.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good automotive technical knowledge;
  • Extremely high attention to detail;
  • Previous automotive industry experience;

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 08:00 to 17:30 with a 20 minute morning break and a 30 minute lunch break (45 hour working week)

Engine Machining Technicians

Varied and challenging vacancies have arisen within our expanding engine machining services workshop team for two positive and keen individuals with a passion for engines and the restoration of all engine components.
 
The machining services team work on a large variety of engine types from motorcycle engines; cars and commercial vehicles to large agricultural; rivercraft and also many forms of motor sports including V8’s; professional; amateur; and classic racing series’.
 
Both positions involve a varied range of duties, some of which include:
  • pressure testing of cylinder heads for cracks and porosity;
  • full cylinder head re-working including disassembly and assembly;
  • cutting of valves and seats;
  • skimming of critical faces;
  • re-grinding and balancing of crankshafts;
  • cylinder block re-boring and re-sleeving;
  • resizing and bushing of connecting rods.
 
Training will be provided, so whether…
  • you have machining experience or not - but you are interested and enthusiastic about being fully trained to machine and restore engine components to precision tolerances;
  • or if you have had previous experience in any form of hands on mechanical or machining operations or amateur DIY mechanics;
  • or if you are a professional mechanic in the garage trade but thinking about a change in direction within the motor industry…

Engine Remanufacturing Technician

Due to an increase in sales, vacancies are opening in several production departments for an engine re-manufacturing technician. Duties will range from stripping, inspecting, cleaning, reassembling and picking components for petrol and diesel engines.
 
We are looking for someone who is practically minded with a desire to learn - no previous experience is required and full in-house training will be provided. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems.


Production Hours:  Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 with 20 minutes paid morning break, half hour unpaid lunch and Friday 07:30 to 13:30 with 20 minutes paid morning break  (40 hour working week)

Engine Assembler

A vacancy has arisen for another team member to join our engine assembly department to assemble a range of both petrol and diesel remanufactured engines.  The successful candidate will be assembling 1, 2 or 4 engines simultaneously to specification.

We are seeking individuals with a keen interest/knowledge of engines either through experience in the motor trade, agricultural plant, general plant, motor sport, etc. or someone who is practically minded with a desire to learn - no previous experience is required and full in-house training will be provided.
